2013 Oscars Winners

OscarsThe 2013 Academy Awards, affectionately known as the Oscars, for outstanding film achievements of 2012 were presented on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center®, and were televised live by the ABC Television Network with Seth Mcfarlane as the host.

"Lincoln" had led the way with 12 nominations but came in with just two wins including Daniel Day Lewis as best actor. "Life of Pi" was the big winner with four Oscars including best director for Ang Lee.

Argo picked up three wins including best picture.

2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards Winners

The 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were held this Sunday, Jan. 27 at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center and were simulcast on both TNT and TBS.

Screen Actors Guild AwardsLincoln picked up two wins on the movie side to lead the way. Daniel Day-Lewis and Tommy Lee Jones both picked up best and supporting acting honors.

HBO had the most nominations on the television side of things with 10 nominations but came away with just three wins. NBC picked up two wins on the night with 30 Rock actors Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey picking up best acting honors

2013 Golden Globe Winners

The 2013 Golden Globes were held on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA and broadcast on NBC.

Golden Globe

Snubbed by the Academy in their nominations, Ben Affleck took home best director for Argo which also won best motion picture - drama. Les Miserables had a big night winning three awards.

On the television side of things, HBO's Game Change won three awards as did Showtime's Homeland. HBO's Girls took home two awards.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has released the nominees for the 2013 Academy Awards affectionately known as The Oscars.

OscarsAcademy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2012 will be presented on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center®, and televised live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET.

"Lincoln" leads the way 12 nominations including best picture, best director, best adapted screenplay and acting nods for stars Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field and Tommy Lee Jones. "Life of Pi" came in second with 11 nominations

2013 Golden Globe Nominations

The 2013 Golden Globe Nominations came out on Thursday morning for the awards ceremony that will be held on January 13, 2013 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA and broadcast on NBC.

On the movie side of things, Lincoln leads the way with seven nominations followed Argo and Django Unchained which both came in with five nominations.

On the television side of things, HBO led the way again with 17 nominations while Showtime pulled in seven. Game Change led the with five nominations while Showtime's Homeland had four. Modern Family, PBS' Downton Abbey: Season 2 and the HBO film The Girl all tallied three nominations

2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards Nominations

The nominations for the 2013 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards came out on December 12, 2012 for outstanding performances in 2012 in five film and eight primetime television categories. The 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards which will be simulcast live nationally on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 27 at 8 p.m. (ET)/5 p.m. (PT) from the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center.

Screen Actors Guild AwardsLes Miserables, Lincoln and Silver Linings Playbook lead the way on the movies side with four nominations each.. HBO had the most nominations on the television side of things with 10 nominations. AMC had six nods while NBC and Showtime each had five.

Modern Family leads the way on the TV nominations garnering all four of ABC's chances to win.

2012 Primetime Emmy Awards Winners

The 64th Primetime Emmy Awards were held on Sunday night at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles and HBO came away as the big winners of the 26 awards announced on the evening.

Primetime Emmy AwardsHBO won a total of six with most of them going to the various categories that Game Change was nominated in. Showtime won big as well taking home four honors, including it's first ever best drama series with Homeland.

ABC was the big winner of the networks with five awards while CBS took home three.

"Hugo" and "The Artist" were the big winners last night coming away with five Oscars. "The Artist" picked up wins for best actor (Jean Dujardin), best picture, best director, costume design and music (original score).

The 2011 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards for outstanding performances in 2011 in five film and eight primetime television categories were held on Sunday night at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center. They were simulcast on TNT and TBS.

Screen Actors Guild AwardsThe Help came into the SAG Awards with five nominations and came with three wins including best actress for Viola Davis, best supporting actress for Octavia Spencer and outstanding performance by a cast.

HBO had 11 nominations on the television side of things and came away with five wins led by Boardwalk Empire which got two wins, including best actor Steve Buscemi and outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama.
