Former UConn Huskies wide receiver/kick returner Larry Taylor never really got to make his mark in the NFL.

He had actually started his professional career in the Canadian Football League mainly as a special teams player with the Montreal Alouettes in 2008 and 2009. In 2009, he was named the CFL’s Most Outstanding Special Teams Player in a season that saw him return two punts for touchdowns.

He got a chance with the New York Jets in 2010 but was one of the final cuts. He stayed on the practice squad for a month before being released and returning to the Alouettes. He moved across Canada in 2011 to play with the Calgary Stampeders where he his currently playing.

On Saturday night in a game against the Toronto Argonauts, Taylor took a missed field goal (the rules are different in the CFL on missed field goals) and returned it 125 yards for a touchdown.
