Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos scored a first round technical knockout win over Gina Carano to win the Strikeforce Female 145-pound Championship at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, CA on Saturday night.
Cyborg was awarded the TKO with one second left to go in the round as she was just pounding Carano who was laying on the ground and not fighting back. Referee Josh Rosenthal stepped in to save Carano from any further beat down.
