Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos scored a first round technical knockout win over Gina Carano to win the Strikeforce Female 145-pound Championship at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, CA on Saturday night.

Cyborg was awarded the TKO with one second left to go in the round as she was just pounding Carano who was laying on the ground and not fighting back. Referee Josh Rosenthal stepped in to save Carano from any further beat down.

In a non-title bout, UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva moved up to the 205 pound weight class and scored a first round knockout of former UFC light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin.

After the fight, Griffin showed no class or respect for his sport as he immediately left the ring.

B.J. Penn successfully defended his UFC Lightweight title last night at UFC 101 in Philadelphia as his rear naked choke made Kenny Florian tap out at the 3:54 mark of the 3rd round.

In the main event of UFC 100 on Saturday night in Las Vegas, Brock Lesnar was able to get his revenge as he knocked out Frank Mir in the second round.Lesnar retains his UFC Heavyweight belt with the win and avenges his only UFC loss.

Lesnar showed no class after the fight as he gave the crowd the middle finger after they were booing him. He also delivered one of the best post-fight speeches ever.

In the main event at the Strikeforce MMA event in St. Louis on Saturday, Jake Shields got Robbie Lawler into a deep guillotine and got Lawler to submit at the 2:02 mark of the first round. It's the 12th straight win for Shields.

Lyoto "The Dragon"  Machida knocked out "Sugar" Rashad Evans during the second round of their light heavyweight title fight at UFC 98 on Saturday night. With the win, Machida becomes the UFC light heavyweight champion and continued his string of not being knocked down in a fight.
