The last of the preseason polls for women's basketball came out on Tuesday and this time around it's the USA Today Coaches Preseason Poll.

In it, just like the AP Poll, the Baylor Lady Bears are the No. 1 team in the land. Our UConn Huskies come in at No. 2.

Those two teams are followed by the Duke Blue Devils, Stanford Cardinal and Maryland Terrapins.

Joining the Huskies from the Big East are the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (6), Louisville Cardinals (9) and the St. John's Red Storm (13).

The DePaul  Blue Demons, Georgetown Hoyas, Rutgers Scarlet Knights and Syracuse Orange are among the others receiving votes.

For the third straight week, the Alabama Crimson Tide find themselves atop the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) standings.

The top five teams are the same from last week but in a different order. The Crimson Tide are followed by the Kansas State Wildcats, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Oregon Ducks and LSU Tigers.

Only one team remains from the Big East in the BCS Top 25. And that is the Louisville Cardinals who come in at No. 10.

As many of you know, I am one of the voters in the BlogPoll Top 25. Each week, bloggers across the country representing the various FBS schools get together and put together their own top 25's.

The NCAA football rankings are out and with a few upsets there are some changes to the poll.

The Alabama Crimson Tide were an unanimous pick as the No. 1 team in the land. They are followed by the Oregon Ducks, Kansas State Wildcats, Notre Dame Fighting Irish and LSU Tigers in both polls.

Only one Big East team remains in both polls and that is the Louisville Cardinals (12/10). The Rutgers Scarlet Knights fell out of the top 25 in the AP Poll and are among the others receiving votes but are ranked No. 25 in the Coaches' Poll.

The Cincinnati Bearcats are among the only team from the Big East among the others receiving votes in the Coaches' Poll.

On Thursday, I posted the first men's college basketball preseason poll from the USA Today Coaches Poll. Well on Friday, the preseason AP Poll came out.

And like the Coaches Poll, the Indiana Hoosiers are the No. 1 team. In fact the top five in the AP Poll is the same as the Coaches Poll.

There is one change to the top five from last week as the Kansas State Wildcats have jumped over the Oregon Ducks for third place. So the top five this week is Alabama, the Florida Gators, Kansas State, Oregon and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

With the Cincinnati Bearcats falling on Saturday night to Toledo, there are now two teams from the Big East in the BCS Top 25. They are the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (15) and Louisville Cardinals (16). They are ranked in the same spots they were in last week.
