Adrian Beltre's walkoff single in the bottom of the 9th gave the Texas Rangers a 4-3 win over the Boston Red Sox and a sweep of the three-game weekend series.

Cinco De Mayo Red Sox Delight

After falling last night, the Boston Red Sox look to salvage the series this afternoon in the finale of a three-game set with the Texas Rangers at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington (TX).

First pitch is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. If you live in the Red Sox television market you can catch the game on NESN. If you live in the Rangers television market, you can catch the game on Fox Sports Southwest. And if you can't catch the game on television, you can always listen on the 2013 Red Sox Radio Network.

Jon Lester looks to stay perfect in his seventh start of 2013. In his previous six starts, Lester is 4-0 with a 3.11 ERA. He made two starts against the Rangers in 2012 and was 0-2 with an 11.42 ERA (11 ER/8.2 IP). He's made 10 career starts against the Rangers and is 3-3 with a 4.57 ERA. Three of those starts have come in Arlington where he is 1-0 with a 3.72 ERA.

The AL strikeout leader Yu Darvish makes his seventh start of 2013. In his previous six starts, Darvish is 5-1 with a 2.33 ERA. His lone career start against the Red Sox came in 2012 when he took the loss after allowing six runs in 6.2 innings.

Ian Kinsler set the tone early with a leadoff home run off of John Lackey on his first pitch of the game. But it was errors by the Boston Red Sox that did them in as they fell to Texas Rangers 5-1 on Saturday night at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington (TX).

Afternoon Red Sox Delight - 5/4

After being shutout last night, the Boston Red Sox look to get back on track in the middle game of a three-game set with the Texas Rangers at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington (TX).

First pitch is scheduled for 8:05 p.m. If you live in the Red Sox television market you can catch the game on NESN Plus. If you live in the Rangers television market, you can catch the game on Fox Sports Southwest. And if you can't catch the game on television, you can always listen on the 2013 Red Sox Radio Network.

John Lackey toes the rubber for just the third time in 2013. In his previous two starts, Lackey is 1-1 with a 2.61 ERA. He last faced the Rangers in 2011 when he went 1-2 with an 11.15 ERA. He's made 36 career starts against the Rangers and is 12-14 with a 6.16 ERA. The Abliene, TX native has made 16 starts in Arlington and is 7-6 with a 6.68 ERA.

Alexi Ogando steps to the hill for his seventh start of 2013. In his previous six starts, Ogando is 2-2 with a 3.38 ERA. He made three appearances against the Red Sox in 2012 and was 1-0 with 0.00 ERA. He's made eight appearances (one start) against the Red Sox in his career and is 1-2 with a 5.11 ERA.
