
After being swept in Texas, the Boston Red Sox return home for a seven-game homestand. Tonight, they'll kick it off with the first of four games against the Minnesota Twins at historic Fenway Park.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. If you live in the Red Sox television market you can catch the game on NESNPlus. Dr. Clay Buchholz looks to make it seven straight wins in his seventh start of 2013. In his previous six starts, Buchholz is 6-0 with an 1.01 ERA. He made two starts against the Twins in 2012 and was 1-0 with a 3.65 ERA. Buchholz has made five career starts against the Twinkies and is 3-1 with a 4.25 ERA.
After three years in the NL, Vance Worley makes his seventh start of 2013 in the AL for the Twins. In his previous six starts, Worley is 0-4 with a 7.22 ERA. His lone career start against the Red Sox came in 2011 when he picked up the win after allowing one run in seven innings of work. Tonight will mark his first start at the Fens.
