The Boston Red Sox look for their fifth straight win and a sweep of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim this afternoon at Angels Stadium of Anaheim.

First pitch for this afternoon’s game is scheduled for 3:35 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on NESN in the Red Sox television market.  If you live in the Angels television market, the game will be broadcast on FOXSports West. And if you can’t catch the television broadcast, you can always listen to the game on the 2011 Red Sox Radio Network.

John Lackey looks for his fourth straight win over his former club in his fourth start of 2011. In his three starts, he is 1-2 with a 9.82 ERA. In three starts against the Angels last season, he was 3-0 with a 3.38 ERA.  Lackey had made 113 career starts at Angel Stadium of Anaheim and he is 50-32 with a 3.70 ERA.

Matt Palmer makes his third start of the 2011 season and will look to help the Angels avoid a sweep. In two starts, he is 1-0 with a 4.22 ERA. Palmer made two appearances against the Red Sox in 2010 and had no record with a 16.20 ERA. (6 ER/3.1 IP). He has made three appearances (one start) against the Red Sox in his career and is 1-0 with a 7.30 ERA.
