After falling 6-1 last night, the Boston Red Sox look to even up their three-game set tonight with the Oakland Athletics at O.co Coliseum.

First pitch is scheduled for 10:05 p.m. and will be broadcast on NESN in the Red Sox television market. If you live in the Athletics television market, you can catch the game on CSN California.  If you can’t catch the television broadcast, you can always listen to it on the Red Sox radio network.

Jon Lester looks to put a quality start together in his 17th start of 2012. In his previous 16 starts, Lester is 5-5 with a 4.53 ERA. He has not faced the A’s this season and picked up the win in his only start of 2011 against them after allowing one run in six innings of work. Overall in his career, Lester is 3-3 with a 4.53 ERA in nine starts. Three of those starts have come at Al Davis Memorial Stadium where he is 1-2 with a 4.58 ERA.

One time member of Red Sox, Bartolo Colon, returns from the disabled list to make his his 16th start of the season. In his previous 15 starts, Colon is 6-7 with a 4.22 ERA. He has not faced them in 2012 and was 0-2 with a 3.00 ERA in three appearances (two starts) in 2011 as a member of the New York Yankees. Overall in his career, Colon is 8-11 with a 4.08 ERA in 25 appearances (24 starts) against the visiting nine from Boston.
