Franklin Morales (L), Zach McAllister (R)

After winning 3-2 last night and evening up the series, the Boston Red Sox look to ensure at least a split tonight in the third game of a four-game set with the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. and will be broadcast on NESN in the Red Sox television market. If you live in the Indians television market, you can catch the game on SportsTime Ohio (STO). If you can’t catch the television broadcast, you can always listen to it on the Red Sox radio network.

Franklin Morales makes his seventh start (35th appearance) tonight for the Red Sox. In his previous 34 appearances (six starts), Morales is 3-2 with a 3.14 ERA. As a starter, he is 3-1 with a 3.06 ERA. He’s made two appearances against the Erie Warriors and has no record with a 0.00 ERA (0 ER/1.1 IP). Morales has made six career appearances against the Tribe and is 0-1 with a 7.20 ERA (4 ER/5 IP). Only one of those appearances has come at Progressive Field where he gave up two runs in an inning of work.

Rookie Zach McAllister makes his 13th start of 2012 for Manny Acta. In his previous 12 starts, McAllister is 4-4 with a 3.60 ERA. His lone career start against the Red Sox came earlier this season when he took the loss after allowing four runs in seven innings of work.
