After falling late last night, the Boston Red Sox look to move closer tonight to clinching the AL East in the second game of a three-game set with the Baltimore Orioles.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. The game will be broadcast on NESN in the Red Sox television market. If you live in the Baltimore Orioles market, you can catch the game on MASN. And if you can't catch the game on television, you can always listen on the 2013 Red Sox Radio Network.
Jake Peavy makes his 22nd start of 2013 tonight. In his previous 21 starts, Peavy is 11-5 with a 4.03 ERA. He last faced the Orioles in 2012 as a member of the Chicago White Sox when he allowed one run in seven innings. He's made two career starts against the O's and is 2-0 with a 2.77 ERA (4 ER/13 IP). Tonight will be the first time he's facing them at Fenway.
Wei-Yin Chen makes his 21st as he looks to keep the Orioles in the AL Wild Card race. In his previous 20 starts, Chen is 7-7 with a 3.99 ERA. He's made two starts against the Red Sox this season and is 0-2 with a 9.90 ERA (11 ER/10 IP). In five career starts against the Red Sox, Chen is 2-2 with a 5.14 ERA. Four of those starts have come at the Fens where he is 1-2 with a 6.14 ERA.
