Video: Lowell Spinners Hit a Human Home Run With Promotion

I've worked in the minor leagues so I've seen the crazy promotions that have been done. I've even spent a year working under the ownership group of the Lowell Spinners in my final year of working in the minors for the New Haven Ravens.

But I can honestly say that I've never seen anything like this that the Spinners did on Tuesday night.

Having a mascot seems to be a common feature not only in sport, but also in education, retail and military forces. A mascot is usually an animal supposed to bring good luck or to represent specific qualities. It is the equivalent of people playing at 888 with their lucky charms.
